This is NOT a sponsored post! I bought these lip butters with my own money while on holidays, check out the haul here!

At last I have bought these gorgeous looking, super sophisticated lip butters from Revlon. The price in Ireland is crazy for them, like 11.99 euro or something. So when I was in Florida there were only, like, $6.99, and I was like WOAH! I gotta get them!
These products are raved by beauty bloggers internationally, so I had to set out on my research to see if these lip butters are really as good as they look. Let's see...
The lip butters are available in 20 (wowza!) shades from nice nudes to pretty pinks. Each of them have a cute name to do with sugary foods and treats. The packaging is definitely the best thing. But what about the formula?
It's made of 'hydrating' mango, shea and coconut butter and is supposed to boost lip moisture by 156% (now that's precise :/). Revlon promises that they give you baby soft, healthy glowing lips and say that 94% of women thought that after using the lip butters.

The product is very easy to glide on to the lips and is smooth and glossy and moisturising. I love lip glosses so this is a mix between it and a lip balm. It lasts for quite a while and the tint of the colours are so pretty. I really like this product, but the hype for the lip butters is pretty huge compare to its quality. It's good, but not amazing. The price of them as I said is I think around 11.99 euro in Ireland, which isn't great because these butters aren't exactly worth that price. I'm glad I only got them for $7 in the US.
However, I do recommend these lip butters to people who love moisturising lip balms or glosses. The colours are to die for!
Do you have Revlon Lip Butters? What do you think of them?

That's some difference in price !!! I agree with you on the quality thing, I tested a few on the back on my hand in Boots the other day and in my opinion I didn't think they were overly brilliant either xx
ReplyDeleteYeah, you weren't able to test them in America! But I still like them; Tutti Frutti is especially an amazing colour :)
DeleteCupcake looks so so good! I always hear amazing things about these, so it's nice to hear a more realistic review! Thanks!
