Squee!
I finally finished my first day of Second Year! Woop woop!
Now like 9 more months to go... Yay... :(
But I like school so yay/nay :/
Whatever.
Anyway I'm here to present to you what I did to get ready for my first day back after three months of summer, and I also what I did in school, which isn't much. I went back two days ago, on the 27th. I was so excited to see all my friends again and all. I was only in from 12 to 3, so I was able to take my time that morning since I woke up at like 8 (I'm a morning person :D).
Without further adue, here is my second Back to School post!
The night before, after washing my hair, I plaited my hair into four, as you can see. I was planning to rock the look the next day... Just kidding! I did it before last year and it made my hair curly and frizzy (in a cool and different way). I wanted to try it out again for my first day.
I sprayed this on to my plaits for a nourishing treatment. I can't even tell if it worked yet.
In the morning, I had my breakfast first (Rice Krispies!) and watched a little TV (since I was up quite early and I didn't have be in school till 12, as I said). I went up stairs and changed into my uniform. I don't wear a hoodie to school (we're not allowed) but I wanted to cover up my school shirt.
I tied my hair into my signature side ponytail, and as you can tell, the plaits did make a difference.
I added a little hairband from Penneys to finish it off.
Hair: Complete!
You gotta brush your teeth y'all!
I washed my face with this great refreshing face wash.
And with my Benefit moisturizer, I primed my skin for my make up.
I didn't want to do photos for what I used for makeup since I used the exact same stuff as I did in a previous post. Click the photo above to see how I did it!
Also I don't wear a face of make up everyday.
I am not really allowed nail polish in school but I tried out a French manicure the night before. It is pretty natural so I doubt will notice straight away. The most trouble I'll get in is being told to take it off, which isn't that bad as there's a girl in my form who was told to take it off every week last year but still continues to wear coloured nails.
I can't show you my outfit unfortunately (Irish uniforms aren't very exciting anyway) but I can show you my school shoes! I love them; so comfortable!
Then I was ready to go! Of course I organised my bag and books and all that and brought them, but no one really cares about that... I'll do a Supplies Organisation post soon.
When I arrived I got to see all my pals again which was great and said hi to a few other girls. There's a new girl and she's Mexican! She's not in my form though, so I didn't get to talk to her.
We had a Study Skills day which means a few guys came in (not from our school) to talk to us and gives us ideas on how to study and note taking. It was very helpful I thought. I might do a separate post in a few weeks on study tips.
Today I did my first proper day! It was a bit different because it was a new timetable and I was separated from my form class for my choice subjects, business and Spanish and into new classes with different teachers. It was grand.
Also, I played hockey today! I play for my school, and it is the best sport EVER! It really keeps you fit and is so fun!
So that's all guys! Good luck in school!

Deleteyour hair looks cute ^^ I never thought of doing 4 plaits.. I guess it works better with thick hair than two plaits does.
