M&CO Wishlist for Under £100

It's a week to Christmas Day! Wooooohoooo
I decided to enter M&CO's blog competition and had to make a wish list from their website, so this is the result! It's under £100 but not €100 unfortunately! Nonetheless, I hope you like it :D

Today I'm heading off to surgery to get my wisdom teeth removed, so I might be out of action in the next few days (the beginnings of Christmas break ._.). I'll let you all know how it goes!

Dear Santa,
All I Want for Christmas from M&CO is...

 Red Tartan Scarf (£20 / €25.24)
Tartan is always an essential A/W pattern, but I have hardly any of it! This scarf is so pretty; it would work perfectly with the Parka on this wish list, or any of my winter gear. It can be styled in different ways too; helpful for
recreating outfits!
Purple Fleece Slipper Boots (£12 / €15.15)
 These just look too fluffy to not wish for! I am an owner of lots of slippers and am open to lots more;
they're so comfortable.
Quilted Gold Chain Bag (£17.50 / €22.09)
Does anyone think of the infamous Chanel bag when they see this? If so, they're my thoughts exactly. It's so 'classy and fabulous' but a lot cheaper than the designer version! A chic addition to night out looks, this bag is irresistible!
Touch Screen Gloves (£5 / €6.31)
The tech-y generation is forever becoming bigger these days. For those cold winter days (almost everyday in Ireland), I would love to have these gloves so I can keep my fingers warm while being able to tap at my phone. A very important tool for bloggers on chilly days!
Long Pearl Necklace (£6.40 / €8.08)
Chanel-ing it back to Coco Chanel again (see what I did there?), pearl necklaces remind me so much of the Roaring 20s era. They can easily jazz up any plain outfit with that hint of vintage elegance.
Parka Jacket from Kylie range (£26.60 / €33.57)
It seems like everyone I know has a parka jacket, but they're all army-green. Seriously, I was in Dublin with my friends the other day and most of the girls were wearing jackets that were almost identical to each other; they're very popular jackets here! Nothing wrong with them, they're stunning parkas, but this navy one is that bit different... That difference being the colour, obviously. I absolutely love the look of this coat; the colour of it means it can be worn with anything, and the faux leather detailing is very stylish. I need it!
Total = £87.50 / €110.43
 Not too expensive, eh Santa?

The prize for the competition is to win the items on the wish list and get you're wish list published on M&CO's blog, or if you're a runner up you just get the wish list on the blog. Cool prize, ay?
Thanks to M&CO for letting me know about this contest, I had lots of fun making my wish list!
 Talk to you soon!

❄ The Christmas Tag! ❄

Decorations from last year; our house is in the midst of being Christmas-ified right now!
So I was tagged by the lovely Jamie to do the Christmas Tag....
"Ehm, hello?"
"Wakey, wakey Jane!"
"Have you not got something to say?"
Have I?
"YOU HAVEN'T BLOGGED IN OVER A MONTH!!!"
Shush, shush, dear inside voice of Jane, I am aware. I hope my readers will understand that I was absent for a few reasons, one being I had to study for my Christmas exams and another being that I wasn't very motivated to blog; I didn't have any ideas. But I am back, and more in the blogging mojo than ever before! I now have too many ideas, and need to put the jigsaw pieces together to create fun content, and I desperately need to organise my blogging life. I better get working!
Now where were we?
Ah yes, Christmas! Let's go...

What is your favourite Christmas film?
The classics; Elf, Home Alone, The Muppet Christmas Carol. I like many more, but they're solid favourites.
Have you ever had a White Christmas?
I think once or twice. I have vague memories of one when I was younger, and there was snow on December 25th some year not too long ago. I love snow. It's a rarity in Ireland, so it'd be like a magical gift to me if snowflakes fell from the clouds this year!
Where do you usually spend the holidays?
Home Sweet Home! Family always come to ours on Christmas day. However, over the break this year, we will be staying in a hotel in Waterford for two nights for my mum's birthday. I haven't been away in a while, so that will be terrific :D
What is your favourite Christmas song?
Correction: What are your favourite Christmas songs? I have wayyyy too many!
Again, the classics invade the top of my list; All I Want for Christmas is You, Merry Christmas Everyone, Let It Snow!, I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday and many more. Michael Buble's and Hayley Westenra's Christmas albums are on infinitely on repeat throughout December too. As well as those, I like proper carols; Carol of the Bells and O Holy Night.  The music is probably one of the best aspects of Christmas!

Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?
Never. Christmas Day is the day.
Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?
Dancer, Prancer, Comet, Cupid, Donner, Blitzen... Oh and Rudolf! Ah, that's only seven! The ones I forgot were Dasher and Vixen... so close!
What holiday traditions are you looking forward to most this year?
Continuing decorating the house; our sitting room smelling like Christmas, or a fir tree, to be more precise; going ice skating; spending a day in festively-glammed-up-with-lights Dublin and shopping with my family; Mass on Christmas Eve; swapping presents with my loved ones on Christmas morning; then swapping presents with cousins who arrive at our house; Christmas dinner.... Ah! Once again, there's a lot.

Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
I always have one fake tree in the kitchen, and a real tree in our sitting room, hence the fir tree smell!
What is your all-time favorite holiday food/sweet treat?
Turkey, roast potatoes, vegetables, and the gravy! I'm drooling already!

Be honest: do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts better?
Giving gifts is so heart-warming; watching the receiver's smile grow with delight as they unwrap their gifts (or the 3-seconds-of-bewilderment-and-then-forgetting-about-it technique of gratitude perfected by my cousins under five) is very enlivening. I absolutely love receiving gifts too. It's a hard decision! I pick both #rebel :P

What is the best Christmas gift you’ve ever received?
I remember many gifts that I have received throughout my life so I am grateful for every one. I always feel like Christmases gets better every year, but realistically, one year was just as amazing as the next! I honestly can't choose one so #rebelstrikesback :P
What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?
New York; the lights, the shops, the ice skating, the enormous Christmas trees, the busy atmosphere, the frosty air and snow of the Big Apple in December gives me the *feels*. If I was there it'd be like being in a Christmas movie (Elf in other words). One day maybe I can go there for the holiday season (wow I sounded so American there).
Even though going to New York for Christmas would be out of the world, I would prefer to be at home with my family for Christmas; it's not the same without them!

Are you a pro-present wrapper, or do you fail miserably?
My sister is! Can that count as an answer?
Emily is a genius at all things Christmas that I suck at, like untangling lights and wrapping presents. I'm her 'assistant' when we have to wrap gifts. I help her with the sello-tape. I'd say I'm alright when I have to do it on my own... :/
Most memorable holiday moment?
Every Christmas of my life! Gosh, I'm awfully vague in this tag.

What made you realise the truth about Santa?
What are you talking about?! Santa is 100% real ;)

Do you make New Years resolutions? Do you stick to them?
Yes, I do, but then I don't really stick them.
I give up on making them!
*irony if someone's resolution was 'never give up'*
What makes the holidays special for you?
Everything! I love everything about Christmas, in case you couldn't tell!

I tag... drum roll...
Alicia, GabyKateGraceAveen, and Katie
(for all YouTubers you can do videos if you like x)

Happy-Almost-Christmas, fizzy, quirky dorks!
I hope to have some fantabulous new posts up ASAP!
