OUTFIT | New Year, Same Me

I have recently really liked a few things, which includes the TV show Community and this dark green shirt.

Two days ago, on the 2nd, we had friends over for dinner. I had to get ready quite a bit early so I could have outfit pictures taken outside, thanks to the early sunset of winter. I had this ensemble in mind, and it turned out just the way I would have liked it to.

I saw this gem of a shirt in Urban Outfitters before 2016 came around. It's the first ever UO piece I've bought (it was in the sale - half price!) and the fabric is un-be-liev-a-bly soft. Also, I love the colour. I thought it would work nicely with my suede skirt. I prevented making the shirt from looking too formal by wearing a white tank top underneath, not closing all of the buttons, rolling up the sleeves and wearing my glam H&M necklace I bought in Munich. 

I thought I'd wear my glasses as I thought this outfit was quite preppy and that the specs would add to it. I did my hair in a half up, half down style, which my mum thought looked nice. Thanks Mum!

I liked watching Community and this dark green shirt before the countdown to 2016. So, new year, new me? Nope.
