My New Year Resolutions (+ Plans for my Blog)!

Heeeeeey everyone!

So today I am going to share with you my New Year Resolutions for 2013 and also I will be telling you my plans for Dorky Fizzy and Quirky Stuff for the new year!

My New Year resolutions are usually the same every flipping year and often I don't succeed them, but this year, I am determined to keep them and never forget them! I have broken these resolutions already, as I've made these up pretty recently, but it's never too late. :)

So let's begin...

1. Don't worry too much, keep calm and carry on!
2. Focus on the positives
3. Spend more time with family and friends and think of them more (don't be selfish)
4. Be more studious and organised
5. Keep fit and be a stronger hockey player
6. Eat more healthy food
7. Keep practicing piano everyday
8. Blog regularly :)
9. Take more care of my teeth and skin
10. Learn something new and make new friends
11. Be confident, happy, kind, caring, outgoing and determined
12. Enjoy life and have fun!

Lastly, I started a new series in December called 'Janes Diary' so I will be continuing that. Basically they are blog posts about big events that had happened to me in the previous two months!

So I hope to post soon, as usual I am super busy with school/homework, friends etc etc.

❄ What I got for Christmas 2012! ❄

Before I begin, I have something to tell you 2 things.

1. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!

I wish you all a safe and wonderful new year. 2012 was a great year and I hope you guys enjoyed the year too.  But don't think too much of the past, think more of the present and future. I am going to try and have the best 2013 ever! I might share my (not-so-private) New Years Resolutions soon.

2. Secondly, I am not bragging or showing off to you what I received in any way what so ever. 

As I said in my last post, I enjoy watching and reading the 'What I got for Christmas' videos and blog posts  and I thought it would be fun for me to do too. I am so grateful and blessed for everything and I had  awesome time with my family on Christmas Day. 

All the following gifts I received from Santa, family and friends. I hope you enjoy!

Make-Up + Beauty products

We will begin with Make-Up

This is all the make-up I received

I love this BB cream

The Sugarlicious set by Benefit is amazing!

This brush is really soft and I use it for blusher

I got the Glam'Eyes Quad palette from Santa and the Trio palette from my auntie, as she didn't know I was getting it from Santa as well. I love the nude colours on this palette!!!

I got three mascaras: the MaxFactor Eye Brightening Mascara for Blue Eyes and two Benefit They're Real mascaras (one small, one big). The reason I got two is that I got the big one from Santa and the small one from my sister, as she had no idea Santa was bringing it as well. Again, like the incident above.

Yes the MaxFactor mascara is still covered in plastic because I can't take it off :P

This brown Scandal Eyes eye pencil is pretty good too

Other Beauty Products

I absolutely love Batiste and this dry shampoo is so good. It  has a cool and unique scent.

These nail polishes look so cute and I can't wait to try them out. I love the coral and the baby blue colours!

As you might have saw in the Winterlicious Tag, I had a Ciate nail polish on my wishlist, and  I got one from Santa! This is not the exact one I asked for, but it's still amazing! I will show you a NOTD soon. :)

This perfume is amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazzzzing!!!
I absolutely love it and I'm so glad I asked for it for Christmas!
I don't know how to describe the scent, so all I can say is that it's gorgeous!!!!!!

I received this cool foot lotion and these socks from a friend. I haven't tried them out yet, but I predict good things from them! The socks are extremely soft!

I also got this manicure set from that friend and it looks pretty cool

€40 Boots voucher from my godfather! This is in the Beauty section as I always buy beauty products from Boots. I also received money from my granny but I don't want to show how much, and I got a voucher  for  my local shopping centre from my godmother, but I don't want share that either.

Clothes + Slippers

(All of my new clothes are from Hollister, which I adore)

This top is so summery but I'm still wearing it in winter, like, whatevs!

And I got 4 pairs of slippers/slipper socks

Electronics + Miscellaneous 

As you already saw, I got the Canon PowerShot SX40 HS camera to share with my sister, the biggest present I got  this year! I love it so much!

I also got the Xperia P phone! It's so good! It's my life now ;P
On the Winterlicious tag post, I mentioned I wished to get the Xpera J phone, but it doesn't make a difference! This phone is class! I hope to buy a case for it soon, as I want to protect my new baby...

Wow! These CDs are awesome!
But my favourite has to be Taylor Swift's Red! The best songs on it are 22 and Stay Stay Stay. Little Mix are brilliant too. JLS aren't my favourite and, but they made a CD.  And the handsome James Arthur did not disappoint me either.
My sister also got the Maroon 5 and the Script CDs, and we both have an iPod so we are sharing the CDs in a way by downloading the songs onto our iPods.
Plus, in case you think we're crazy, we already have the new One Direction CD! 

Mmmmm Chocolate!!!

This bracelet is beautiful! It is a Shamballa bracelet, my Mum told me, and she loves it as much as I do!

I got this cool map from my other grandparents and what you do is scratch off the places you have been to. I have only scratched Ireland so far (if you see the green on the picture) and I have been to way more places than that! I have some work to do!

I got 5 books that I can't wait to read!

I have painted before, but now I can begin properly now that I have these!



And finally I got these headphones, which are shliiick!
