My Favourite Songs of 2013 (so far...)

Hey music lovers (or so I hope you like music...)
I mentioned back in June in my Spring Favourites post that I might do a Spring/Summer playlist 'soon'. Obviously that playlist never came 'soon' after. So I decided to do a post on some of my favourites songs and albums of 2013 so far today. Not all of these songs are new, I just have listened to these songs multiple times this year. And there are a few other songs that I like, but I'm not bothered to include them all.

Some of these songs you may know, some not, so have a fun time browsing!

Lastly, basically all the songs on:

Thanks for reading... or should I say listening!

Is your favourite song/album in this blog post?

Mascara Wars - Benefit, Covergirl, Max Factor and Maybelline

 Hey everybody!
Today I'm doing a Mascara Battle! This is so exciting!
These are the only four mascaras I own. I got They're Real and my Max Factor mascara at Christmas, my Rocket mascara at around springtime and Flamed Out when I went to Florida this summer.

I'm going to rate each mascara out of 5 too, so you can
see which one is my favourite.

By the way, all of these mascaras are amazing in their own ways; it is only my opinion and all the flaws that these mascaras have are very minor.

I'm not exactly sure of the prices for each of these products, so I'm sorry about that.

Enjoy!

They're Real! by Benefit

This is by far my most sophisticated mascara. It's very lengthening and curls my lashes nicely, although it is a tad clumpy at times, only a tad, even though Benefit promise that it separates the lashes. Benefit also say it doesn't smudge, but it can. They are the only cons to this product to be honest! Its a beautiful mascara and I love to wear it to special events and it is definitely worth the money!

Max Factor Eye Brightening Mascara

This mascara is named correctly; it does brighten the eyes! It has blue metallic tones that brings intensity to sapphire eyes; the perfect product for back to school! It will give the illusion that you're more awake than you actually are (gotta blame Twitter and Instagram and early morning rising)! It's also not too lengthening or clumpy or volumizing that teachers can notice you're wearing makeup; nobody likes getting in trouble!

Maybelline Rocket Volum' Express

This mascara is easy to apply; it glides on nice and smoothly leaving a clean sleek look. You don't need to apply many coats as it gives out massive volume. It gives the illusion of longer lashes and zero clumps appear if applied correctly. I think this is the best mascara; it's great for any time, any place. I love this mascara!

Rating: 5/5!
Recommended for: whoever loves BIG LASHES and no clumps!

Covergirl Flamed Out Waterproof Mascara

I bought this product thinking 'Sure, I don't have any waterproof mascaras, so why not?' I didn't have any Covergirl products, since they don't sell it in Ireland, so I got this!
I think this mascara is pretty waterproof; it didn't ever get sticky on lashes on hot days in Florida and doesn't slide off or smudge when swimming in the pool or sea. That's a plus!
This mascara is named Flamed Out, and the mascara does wing out my lashes! It's a very curling mascara which is what I love about it!
Rating: 4/5
Recommended for: Those hot, sticky days, or when swimming in the pool or sea

I hoped you all liked my mascara reviews!
The winner of the fight is Maybelline!
But I still love them all equally, wearing them on different occasions.

What mascara do you wear?
